I cannot recommend Jeff Ackerman and Right Way Construction and Fence enough. Truly. Finding contractors who are reliable, communicative, hardworking, and who genuinely care about the quality of their work feels rare these days, but Jeff and his crew exceeded every expectation we had. After months of frustration trying to get our shower replaced, working with Jeff and his team was such a breath of fresh air. When we first moved into our apartment, the primary bathroom shower had clearly been poorly refinished and the drain wasn’t even installed correctly. We immediately put in a work order, but after months of delays and failed attempts by another company, we were beyond frustrated. The first company measured multiple times, scheduled “installs” that never actually happened, and even showed up one day just to tell us they had ordered the wrong shower after we had already cleared out the bathroom yet again. Then Jeff came in. Jeff measured once, communicated clearly, scheduled the install for Friday, May 22nd, and showed up right on time before 9am with his crew. From the moment they started, it was obvious we were dealing with professionals who genuinely cared about doing the job right. What was supposed to be a simple shower replacement quickly turned into uncovering major hidden issues behind the walls, including old plumbing problems and unexpected repairs. Jeff and his sons handled every curve ball with professionalism, honesty, and constant communication. They worked tirelessly late into the night Friday and came back Saturday, sacrificing part of their Memorial Day weekend family beach trip just to make sure the job got finished properly. At one point, an old pipe burst behind the wall. One of Jeff’s sons acted immediately to protect everything in my closet on the other side of the wall while the other ran to shut off the water and minimize damage. Their quick thinking and teamwork honestly saved us from what could have been a disaster. By the end of the project, they didn’t just feel like contractors, they felt like family. Kind, hardworking, respectful, communicative, and genuinely invested in doing quality work. If you’re considering hiring Right Way Construction and Fence, give them a chance. You will be impressed. It’s rare these days to find contractors who are this reliable, skilled, and caring. Jeff and his crew absolutely earned our trust and future business. I’ll definitely be reaching back out to Jeff for projects at my grandmother’s house too… just as soon as I know they’ve made it back from their Memorial Day beach trip 😅 Bonus points: they’re bonded and insured, and they even traveled all the way from Portland to Salem for this job. Right Way Construction and Fence exceeded our expectations. What should have been a simple shower replacement in an older apartment complex turned into a complicated plumbing repair due to unexpected pipe issues, but their crew handled everything professionally and efficiently. After previous contractors delayed, reordered incorrectly, and never completed the work, it was a huge relief to finally have a company that showed up, followed through, and completed the project correctly. They communicated well throughout the process, worked hard, and even sacrificed part of their holiday weekend to make sure the job was finished. Excellent customer service, professional crew, and quality work. Highly recommended!
Well, I haven’t had them do any work with me I talked to Jeff personally on the phone when my manager failed at Allen Creek Apartments to schedule anything properly. I reached out and was greeted with Jeff, who we worked out a day to come do the repair, but then my manager double booked him and another agent to repair my cabinets the repairs Dismal at best I wish Jeff had done it.
